The Question:

Who owns the Major League Baseball record for consecutive stolen bases in a single season?

The Answer:

Vince Coleman of the St. Louis Cardinals started his streak on Sept. 18, 1988 and continued it through the next season until July 26, 1989. In total, he stole 50 consecutive bases without being caught stealing. Ichiro Suzuki set the American League record (45) in 2007 with Seattle.
