Vacation time worldwide

The Question:

Do Americans get more or less time off than people in other major countries?

The Answer:

Less. Much less. The World Tourism Organization reports that the average American worker gets 13 vacation days per year. By contrast, the average for Canada is 26 days; for the United Kingdom, 28 days; and for Italy, 42 days.
