Tall and athletic, Alexandra Paul played Lt. Stephanie Holden on the TV show Baywatch from 1992-97. (Paul's character was generally known as the "smart one" among characters played by Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth and others.) Alexandra Paul also played Terry O'Brien on the final season of the TV series Melrose Place. Her films include Paper Dolls (1982, with Daryl Hannah), Dragnet (1987, with Tom Hanks), Above and Beyond (2001), and A Beer Tale (2012). Her TV movies include Rough Air: Danger on Flight 534 (2001), Disaster Zone: Volcano in New York (2006) and Betrayed at 17 (2011).  Alexandra Paul is a vegetarian and animal-rights activist.

Alexandra Paul completed the famous Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii in 1997, finishing in 13:18:52... She married actor Ian Murray in September of 2000... According to her official site, Paul has "been arrested a dozen times for protesting at the Nevada Nuclear Weapons Test Site"... Her identical twin sister, Caroline Paul, is the author of the memoir Fighting Fire.
