A specialist at playing charming twits and warm-hearted rogues, Hugh Grant became an international star in the 1994 comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral. His other films include Sense and Sensibility (1995, with Kate Winslet), the pregnancy comedy Nine Months (1996, with Julianne Moore), the romance Notting Hill (1999, with Julia Roberts), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001, with Renee Zellweger), About a Boy (2002, starring Rachel Weisz and based on the book by Nick Hornby) and American Dreamz (2006, with Mandy Moore). Among his many other films, he voiced a pirate in the 2012 animated film The Pirates.
Hugh Grant has never been married. He fathered a daughter, born in 2011, with a woman named Tinglan Hong, whom he met in London; they are no longer romantically involved... Hugh Grant's long-running romance with model Elizabeth Hurley ended in 2000, but they remained partners in a production company, Simian Films... Hugh Grant made tabloid news in 1995, when he was arrested after being found in a car with a Hollywood prostitute named Divine Brown; he eventually pled no contest and paid a fine... In April of 2007, Hugh Grant was in trouble with the law again after hurling a container of baked beans at a photographer; no charges were filed.
