John Cena has been a dominant figure in the professional wrestling business of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) since the mid-2000s, an 11-time WWE champion known for his clean-cut meets hip-hop persona. He grew up in Massachusetts and played football at Springfield College, but didn't get involved in wrestling until 1999. Within two years, Cena was given a contract with WWE and put on the fast track to the top. He won his first big title in 2004, and since then has had a series of feuds with other wrestlers, building a "good guy" image that has polarized fans and pleased crowds. Square-jawed and well-built, Cena has also made a run at being a WWE movie star, appearing in the films The Marine (2006) and 12 Rounds (2009). He also released a rap album in 2005, You Can't See Me, featuring the single "Bad, Bad Man."
