Paolo Montalban played Prince Charming in the 1997 TV version of Cinderella, co-starring with pop singers Brandy and Whitney Houston. He later won a lead role in the TV show Mortal Kombat (1998-99) and was named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People of 1998. Paolo Montalban emigrated to the United States from the Philippines when he was age 1, according to a 2011 story in the New Jersey Star-Ledger, and began acting while at St. Peter's Prep School in New Jersey. He later graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in psychology before taking up acting professionally. His films include American Adobo (2001) and smaller parts in The Great Raid (2005) and Just Wright (2010). In 2013 he played Rusty's Servant in a short-lived Broadway adaptation of Breakfast at Tiffany's, and he has also appeared on Broadway in Pacific Overtures and The King and I.
Paolo Montalban is not related to actor Ricardo Montalban.
