Peaches Geldof turned her position as the daughter of rocker Sir Bob Geldof into an up-and-down career as a TV personality, model, and free-range celebrity. As the daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, Peaches Geldof grew up in the public eye amidst jokes about her unusual name. As a teen she began writing articles for Elle Girl magazine and The Sunday Telegraph, and in 2005 she had her own television documentary on Sky One, Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind. She followed this with a sequel, Peaches Geldof: Teen America (2006). At the same time she made a name for herself in the late-night social whirl; Britain's Channel 4 called her a "precocious London party girl." In 2011 she had another TV show in the UK, OMG! With Peaches Geldof. She married Max Drummey, a guitarist for the American band Chester French, on 5 August 2008 in Las Vegas; the marriage ended the next year. She then married Thomas Cohen, lead singer of the band S.C.U.M., on 8 September 2012. They had two sons, Astala (born 2012) and Phaedra (born 2013). Peaches Geldof died suddenly on 7 April 2014; her husband found her at their home in Kent. At first the death was called 'unexplained and sudden' by police, but at an inquest on May 1, police told the hearing that "Recent use of heroin and the levels identified were likely to have played a role in her death." A later inquest revealed that Geldof had been taking the heroin substitute methadone for more than two years, but had returned to using heroin shortly before her death.
Her mother, Paula Yates, died of a heroin overdose in 2000, when Peaches was 11 years old… Peaches Geldof had two sisters, Fifi Trixibelle (b. 1983) and Little Pixie (b. 1990), and a half-sister named Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily (b. 1996) from her mother’s relationship with rock star Michael Hutchence… Many sources list her full name at birth as “Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof.” However, Geldof said in a Twitter posting on 16 March 2010, “Just to clarify once and for all, my name is Peaches Honeyblossom (ridiculous, I know!) – The rest of the added names have never been mine.”
