Even as a teen model Rachel Hunter was the anti-waif -- a tall strawberry blonde from New Zealand with freckles and curves. A model since her teen years, Hunter went international as the cover model for Sports Illustrated in 1989. In later years she appeared on the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan and made frequent appearances in the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Hunter married pop star Rod Stewart in 1990 (she was 21 and he was 45), and the couple had two children, Renee (b. 1992) and Liam (b. 1994), before separating in 1999. Hunter has long had an acting career, appearing in small roles on television and several small films, including , Two Shades of Blue (2000, with Gary Busey), Rock Star (2001, with Mark Wahlberg) and Redemption of the Ghost (2002, with Alexandra Paul). She also played the title mother in the popular Fountains of Wayne music video "Stacy's Mom" (2003) and started her own show on what beauty means in 2015.
Extra Credit

Hunter and Stewart first separated in 1999, but did not finalize the divorce until April of 2006. Stewart had meanwhile proposed to another model, Penny Lancaster, in March of 2005, and had a child with her in November of 2005… Hunter appeared on the 1994 “Dream Team” cover of Sports Illustrated, alongside models Kathy Ireland and Elle Macpherson. Both Hunter and Ireland were pregnant when the cover photo was taken.
