Cursor MundiCursor Mundi (kûr'sôr mŭn'dī) [key], a long religious epic in Middle English relating the history of the world as recorded in the Old and New Testaments. This anonymous poem (written c.1300) is a useful record of the northern English dialect of the period. See edition by the Early English Text Society (7 pt., 1874–93; Pt. 3 repr. 1966).
