Portuguese India

Portuguese India, the former Portuguese possessions on the Indian subcontinent. It comprised Dadra and Nagar Haveli, located inland, and the coastal colonies of Goa and Daman and Diu (with the capital at Panjim, now Panaji)—all of which were annexed by India in 1961.
