Corneille

Corneille (Cornelis van Beverloo) (kôrnā'yu) [key], 1922–, Belgian painter. Corneille was a member of CoBrA, the European group allied with abstract expressionism. His work is characterized by linear, weblike configurations that often form broken representational elements.
