Dorcas

Dorcas (dôr'kus) [key]or Tabitha (tăb'ithu) [key][Gr. Dorcas and Aramaic Tabitha=gazelle], in the Acts of the Apostles, Christian woman of Joppa whom St. Peter raised from the dead. She made clothes for the poor.
