Johnston, Richard Malcolm

Johnston, Richard Malcolm, 1822–98, American author, b. Hancock co., Ga., grad. Mercer Univ., 1841. He is known for his stories and sketches of rural Georgia, of which the collection Dukesborough Tales (1871) is best known.
