Sacy, Antoine Isaac, Baron Silvestre de äNtwänˈ ēzäkˈ bärôNˈ sēlvĕˈstrə də säsēˈ [key], 1758–1838, French Orientalist. Sacy's works on Arabic were pioneering, and he was one of the founders of modern Arabic studies in France.
