Anathoth

Anathoth ănˈəthŏth, –thōth [key], in the Bible. 1 Town, NE of Jerusalem, near the modern Anata, West Bank. It was the home of Jeremiah. Its adjective is Antothite, Anetothite, Anathotite. 2 Chief of the people.
