Gomorrah

Gomorrah or Gomorrha (both: gumôr'u, –mor'u) [key], in the Bible, city, destroyed with Sodom. Some have speculated that the ruins southeast of the Dead Sea at Numeira, discovered in 1973, may be those of the city.
