Dera Ghazi KhanDera Ghazi Khan (dā'ru gä'zē khän) [key], town (1981 pop. 102,007), central Pakistan, on the Indus canal. It is an administrative center in a wheat and millet area. Manufactures include textiles, processed foods, and rope. The town was founded in the late 15th cent. A college affiliated with Punjab Univ. is there. The Columbia Electronic Encyclopedia, 6th ed.
