Lido di Venezia

Lido di Venezia lēˈdō dē vānĕˈtsyä [key], long, narrow, sandy island in Venetia, Italy, separating the lagoon of Venice from the Adriatic. It has a beautiful beach and is one of the most fashionable bathing resorts in Europe.
