Mitilíni

Mitilíni (mētēlyē'nyē) [key]or Mytilene (mitilē'nē) [key], city (1991 pop. 24,953), capital of Lesbos prefecture, E Greece, a port on the island of Lesbos in the Aegean Sea. Roman remains are there.
