Qasigiannguit

Qasigiannguit (kä"sigēän'gOOit) [key], formerly Christianshåb (kris'tyäns-hôp) [key], town (1996 pop. 1,515), Qasigiannguit dist., W Greenland, on Disko Bay. The town was founded in 1734. It has a shrimp-canning factory.
