Severodvinsk

Severodvinsk syĕˈvĕrŏdvinsk [key], city (1989 pop. 249,000), NW European Russia, on the Dvina Bay of the White Sea. The main industries are shipbuilding, lumbering, and transshipment. It is a base for a fishing fleet.
