XinhuiXinhui (shin-hwē) [key]or Sunwui (sOOn'wē') [key], town (1994 est. pop. 254,700), S Guangdong prov., SE China, in the Xi River delta, near Guangzhou. It has fruit orchards, fruit-processing industries, and machine shops. Tungsten mines are in the area. A treaty port in 1904, it was an important outlet for Chinese emigrants to the United States.
