Brandy NanQueen Anne, who was very fond of brandy (1664, 1702-1714). On the statue of Queen Anne in St. Paul's Churchyard a wit wrote- Brandy Nan, Brandy Nan, left in the lurch, Her face to the gin-shop, her back to the church.
