Gabriello Chiabrera

Chiabrera, Gabriello (gäbrē-ĕlˈlō kyäbrĕˈrä) [key], 1552–1638?, Italian poet. He adapted classical forms to Italian verse and wrote graceful lyrics in the manner of Anacreon. Wordsworth translated some of his verse.
