Dionysius Periegetes

Dionysius Periegetes (dĪənĭshˈēəs pĕˌrēəjēˈtēz) [key], fl. c.300? B.C., Greek poet. He wrote the poem Description of the Inhabited Earth, which was popular in antiquity.
