Heliodorus of EmesaHeliodorus of Emesa (hēˌlēōdôrˈəs, ĕmˈəsə) [key], fl. 3d cent., Syrian Greek writer. He wrote the romance Aethiopica, one of the oldest and best of surviving Greek romances.
