Clément Jannequin

Jannequin, Clément (klāmäNˈ zhänəkăNˈ) [key], c.1485–1558, French composer, famous for his descriptive four-part chansons about birds, battles, hunts, and other subjects. He also composed motets and spiritual chansons.
