Qasigiannguit

Qasigiannguit (käˌsĭgēänˈgōĭt) [key], formerly Christianshåb krĭsˈtyäns-hôp, town (1996 pop. 1,515), Qasigiannguit dist., W Greenland, on Disko Bay. The town was founded in 1734. It has a shrimp-canning factory.
