Eshtemoa

Eshtemoa (ĕshˈtēmōˈə) [key]. City, S ancient Palestine, near Hebron in the mountains. It is mentioned several times in the Bible; it is called Eshtemoh –mōˈ in the Book of Joshua. Ancient ruins mark the site.
