Chesuncook Lake

Chesuncook Lake (chĭsŭnˈkŏk) [key], 22 mi (35 km) long and from 1 to 4 mi (1.6–6.4 km) wide, N central Maine. The western branch of the Penobscot River flows through the lake. Baxter State Park is nearby.
