Chickasha

Chickasha chĭkˈəshā [key], city (2020 pop. 16,051), seat of Grady co., S central Okla., on the Washita River; inc. 1898. It lies in an agricultural area. Chickasha manufactures furniture, medical equipment and supplies, house trailers, fabricated metal products, and animal feeds. The Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts is in Chickasha.
