River Forest

River Forest, residential village (1990 pop. 11,669), Cook co., NE Ill., a suburb of Chicago, on the Des Plaines River; inc. 1880. It is the seat of Dominican Univ. and Concordia Univ. Several homes there were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
