Abadeh

Abadeh (äbädāˈ) [key], town (1991 pop. 44,967), Fars prov., S central Iran. It is the trade center for a grain- and fruit-growing region. Sesame oil and castor oil are also produced there. Woodcarving and carpet weaving are local crafts.
