Boscobel

Boscobel (bŏsˈkəbĕl) [key], parish, Shropshire, W central England. The oak in which Charles II supposedly hid after his defeat by Oliver Cromwell in the battle of Worcester (1651) was near Boscobel House, which is still standing.
