CannockCannock (kănˈək) [key], city (1991 pop. 54,003), Staffordshire, W central England. It was a mining town dependent upon the rich coal deposits of Cannock Chase until most of the mines closed in the mid-1990s. Cannock's other industries are metalworking and brick making.
