Cortina d'Ampezzo

Cortina d'Ampezzo kōrtēˈnä dämpĕdˈzō [key], town, in Venetia, NE Italy, in the heart of the Dolomites. It is an international winter sports center with a large tourism industry. The 1956 winter Olympic games were held there, and with Milan it was selected to host the 2026 winter games.
