Dornoch

Dornoch dôrˈnŏkh, –nŏk [key], town, Highland, N Scotland, on Dornoch Firth. It is a summer resort. A former royal burgh and ecclesiastical center, Dornoch has a 13th-century cathedral (rebuilt in the 19th cent.). The last burning for witchcraft in Scotland took place in Dornoch in 1722.
