Egmont, Mount

Egmont, Mount (ĕˈmŏnt) [key], or Taranaki târˌənäˈkē, dormant volcano, 8,260 ft (2,517 m) high, on North Island, New Zealand. Conical and snowcapped, it dominates the island's west side.
