Františkovy Láznĕ (fränˈtĭshkôvĭ läzˈnyĕ) [key], Ger. Franzensbad, town, NW Czech Republic, in Bohemia. It is a famous spa with numerous mineral springs. There are extensive peat deposits in the vicinity.
