Glamorgan

Glamorgan (gləmôrˈgən) [key] or Glamorganshire –shĭrˌ, –shər, former county, S Wales. In 1974, the county of Glamorgan was divided among the nonmetropolitan counties of West Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan, and South Glamorgan; these were abolished in a further reorganization in 1996.
