Loire-Atlantique

Loire-Atlantique (lwär-ätläNtēkˈ) [key], formerly Loire-Maritime, department (1990 pop. 1,058,100), NW France, in S Brittany, on the Atlantic coast. The main cities are Nantes (the capital) and Saint-Nazaire.
