Mariánské Lázn&ebreve;Mariánské Láznĕ (märˈyänskā läzˈnyĕ) [key], Ger. Marienbad, town (1991 pop. 15,382), W central Czech Republic, in Bohemia. It is a world-famous spa, with many curative mineral springs and baths, situated on the grounds of a 12th-century abbey. Mariánské Láznĕ has been the site of numerous international congresses.
