Merlo

Merlo mĕrˈlō [key], city (1991 pop. 390,031), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina. An administrative, trade, and agricultural center of the Greater Buenos Aires area, it was founded in 1730 by Francisco de Merlo y Barbossa.
