Ordu

Ordu ôrdo͞oˈ [key], city (1990 pop. 101,306), capital of Ordu prov., N Turkey, a port on the Black Sea. Copper, zinc, and iron are exported. It is the site of Cotyora, founded by Greek colonists, c.500 b.c.
