PančevoPančevo (pänˈchĕvō) [key], city (1991 pop. 72,793), N Serbia, in the Vojvodina region, on the Tamiš River near its confluence with the Danube. It is a river port for nearby Belgrade and an industrial center. There is a fine old church containing valuable paintings and other works of Serbian religious art.
