SavonlinnaSavonlinna (säˈvōnlĭnˌnä) [key], Swed. Nyslott, city (1996 pop. 28,826), Eastern Finland prov., SE Finland. Situated in the Saimaa lake region, it is a resort, inland port, and road and railroad junction, with a large plywood industry, machine shops, and sawmills.
