Sobat

Sobat sōˈbät [key], river, c.200 mi (320 km) long, formed on the Ethiopia–South Sudan border, E Africa, by the confluence of the Baro and Pibor rivers. It flows generally NW through NE South Sudan, past Nasir, to the White Nile just SW of Malakal. It is navigable in the flood season.
