Zeist

Zeist (zĪst) [key], city (1994 pop. 59,258), Utrecht prov., central Netherlands, near Utrecht. It is largely residential; manufactures include pharmaceuticals and furniture. A settlement of the Moravian Brethren was established there in 1746.
