Arkite

Arkite (är'kīt) [key], in the Bible, the Canaanite tribe centered around Arka or Arca, a town near the E Mediterranean Sea NE of Tripoli. Arka, called Arca Caesarea and Caesarea Libani by the Romans, was the birthplace of Alexander Severus; it was vainly besieged by the Crusaders in 1099.
