Corno, Monte

Corno, Monte (mōn'tā kōr'nō) [key], highest peak of the Apennines, c.9,560 ft (2,910 m) high, in the Gran Sasso d'ltalia range, Abruzzi, central Italy. It is snowcapped for most of the year.
